Overview

Athenian Villa welcomes you to a little piece of the Greek Isles in the Overberg. Set in a side lane, off the main road, one can lose sight of the little town of Caledon and imagine oneself in Mykonos or Santorini, the setting is so authentic.

The building itself has a grand history, being one of the first in the town of Caledon, and the facade, which is a national monument, overlooks Donkin Street.

There is a huge balcony where one can spend lazy afternoons reading or sipping tea.

Athenian Villa has secure underground parking.

The B&B has eight guest rooms with toilet and shower facilities. Each is individually decorated and has a television with DSTV, a wall heater and a fan. There are tea and coffee facilities as well.

The courtyard is painted in the traditional Greek style and cascading with overgrown plants, making it an ideal place for breakfast or a braai. On hot days dip into the cool pool and enjoy a drink on the deck. Secure underground parking is available for all guests.

Please note that Athenian Villa has a flight of stairs leading to the rooms.

We regret the property is NOT pet-friendly.
We regret there is no Wheelchair access.
No loud parties.
Friends can visit by arrangement only. There is a curfew of 22h00 or the friend has to pay the full rate for the night.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at the pool at all times.
Guests may drink around the pool at own risk but the guest house will not be held liable for any accidents.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the deposit.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 30% of the deposit.
