Entering the studio apartment you feel at home in the open plan living room and kitchen with floor to ceiling windows allowing much natural light. The centre piece is a large 6 seater oval solid wood dining and kitchen table with high back chairs. The perfect spot to have a meal, sit and work or just keep your partner company preparing a meal. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. It features a standard oven and four plate electric stove/hob with extractor fan.

Good supply of crockery and cutlery with cooking utensils. A large solid wood TV unit reminds of a different era and fits in beautifully with the modern/classic feel of the studio. It features a flat screen TV with DSTV (Satellite) and sound bar. The living room has a large and comfortable couch and two wingback chairs. A sliding door opens from here onto a small balcony looking out over the hustle and bustle of the city. Across the road look up into St Georges Mall, a pedestrian walkway, capturing the feel of everyday life in Cape Town. From here you also have a glimpse of Devil’s Peak to the left of Table Mountain. A divider separates the sleeping area from the living room allowing more privacy. There is a luggage rack in front of the bed making packing and unpacking so much easier, and keeps your luggage out the way. The studio features a Queen size double bed with attractive headboard. The en-suite bathroom with toilet and shower has good space with nice decor. There is a large mirror above the basin.

Important Information

DEPOSIT POLICIES:
Payment must be fully settled: 30 days prior to arrival, or if that date is already passed, then within 2 days of guest confirmation of intention to book.

Key & Breakage Deposit:
A standard key & breakage deposit is payable before or at check-in. This amount depends on the standard of the apartment and may be changed at owner’s / management’s discretion. The following types of payments are accepted:
Secure online payment / Pre-authorisation link that can be sent directly to you or sent with the check in host on the day of arrival (preferred). This is for all short term stays less than 28 nights only.
If no credit card will be available upon check in and for all stays more than 28 nights; the deposit is payable via EFT but needs to bank before arrival.
If none of the two options above was actioned a non-refundable cash payment must be made before check in can be completed.
Deposits will be refunded between 7 and 14 working days after bank confirmation letter has been received, should everything be in order.

Arrivals:
Check-in time is from 14:00 (2pm) onwards on the day of arrival. All guests are to be met in person to complete check-in process. For check-in outside of office hours on weekdays, and after 18:00 (6pm) during weekends a fee of R300 is payable on arrival before keys can be handed over.

Check-out time is 10:00 (10am) on the day of departure. Penalty fee of R150 / hour for late check-out (without prior arrangement).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:
We may impose a cancellation fee in the event of cancellation before arrival. The fee will depend on the nature of order, the length of notice of cancellation before arrival, the reasonable potential to find alternative clients for the reservation and the reason for cancellation. No refunds in the event of cancellation after check-in.

The following cancellation fees apply on the full booking value:

More than 2 months prior to Arrival – 25%

15 – 30 Days prior to Arrival – 50%

Cancellation 14 days or less prior to arrival = 100% of accommodation fee

The above cancellation fees will be revised should we be able to re-let the apartment. The reservation booking fee is not refundable and will be utilized to cover costs.

Any Refunds and the waiver of cancellation policies are at the sole discretion of management and the ability to re-let the property.

15% administrative fee applies to all cancellations.
