The Space
Villa Pietra is set over three floors and benefits from an elegant contemporary style garden. Owner-designed, it reflects the simplicity and colours of the stunning setting - ocean views from two balconies at the rear, and the sweeping mountain backdrop from the balcony at the front of the property. Minimalist design, polished concrete floors, hues of grey and slate all add a super sleek and stylish feel. Plush sofas, comfy beds and cool styling create a luxurious yet fun atmosphere.

On entering Villa Pietra you can’t help but notice the spectacular quality of light, streaming through the large skylight onto the cantilevered smoked oak staircase. You’ll immediately want to take the stairs up to the large open plan dual aspect living room. For sociable, easy holiday living the modern, designer kitchen sits between the lounge and dining areas with a breakfast counter, convivial bar chairs and state of the art appliances. This is ultra-modern living in the most idyllic fashion with a wonderful combination of views to both the ocean and mountains.

Returning down to the entrance hall, take your pick of the two stylish bedrooms on this level. You may be drawn to the ocean view bedroom with its super-king size bed, large ‘sundowner’ balcony and en-suite shower room with double basins and walk in shower. A staircase from the balcony leads down to the courtyard garden and pool.

Alternatively, a stylish mountain view bedroom has windows towards the Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles, is fitted out with a wonderfully comfortable king size bed that can be split into twin beds and access to a cool walk-in shower room featuring luxury fittings, honed marble and brushed brass.

Then take the stairs down to a beautiful ‘courtyard’ bedroom seamlessly linked by sliding glass doors to an exquisitely designed serene and sheltered, outdoor sanctuary - perfect for morning sun salutations! With its super king size bed, spacious en-suite bathroom complete with oval soaking tub, shower, and vanity you’ll feel yourself relaxing into the holiday mood. You will also find the fourth bedroom on this level, which shares the bathroom. From this floor, you can explore the sheltered courtyard and garden beyond.

After a sun-drenched day on the beach, return to Villa Pietra via its private and secure beach access, pausing to wash away the salt and sand under the invigorating outdoor shower. Regroup on the spectacular upper floor, a glass of wine in hand to enjoy sunset over the ocean and the spectacular colours reflected onto the Apostles.

Chat through the best moments of your day around the elegant eight-seater dining table, then retire to the lounge area and sink into the large and unbelievably comfortable ‘Cloud’ sofa. There is a wood-burning fireplace for ‘cosying up ‘on cooler evenings in the Autumn and Winter months since this has been designed to be an all year-round holiday home.

This property has been meticulously vetted prior to on-boarding, comes with a dedicated 24/7 guest support team, housekeeping, WiFi and hotel grade amenities. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be contacted by TRUVI directly to verify yourself and finalise the process. In the unlikely event that TRUVI is unable to provide the necessary damages cover, you would be required to provide a large physical damages deposit prior to arrival. An upfront small payment towards your damage deposit/Waiver may be requested to complete your verification process.

Getting Around
MyCiTi is Cape Town’s modern, scheduled bus service, and an easy way to get around the city. Current routes link the Airport and central Cape Town with Camps Bay and Clifton, all you need is your Myconnect card preloaded with money, which you can do at any MyCiti station or select retailer. Alternatively, one of the easiest ways to get around is by Uber. Just download the app on your smartphone, register, and start using it straight away. The best part is that you register yourself with your credit card details, so you don’t need to always have cash on you to be able to catch a ride.

Important Information

Arrival & Departure
Standard check-in time is 2pm on the day of arrival.
Check-out time is before 10am on the day of departure.
We will try to accommodate all other arrival and departure times. If you have any special requests, please contact the office to arrange this prior to the date of your arrival.
To guarantee early arrivals or late departures, an additional fee of half a day's rental may be charged.
Upon check-in, you may be required to produce proof of identification and your credit card.
Should guests not check-out at the agreed time on the check-out date, the manager will be entitled to charge for the overstay at a rate of up to double the average rate of their current stay, plus all applicable Guest Fees, Taxes and any legal expenses incurred.
It is important to note that by agreeing to our terms and conditions, the guest authorises the Property Manager to utilise their deposit to cover any breakages or damages to the property.

Payment Terms
In order to confirm a reservation, a deposit payment of 50% is due within 48 hours of written confirmation of booking.
A balance payment of 50% is due 40 days prior to arrival.

Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG – a globally recognized trust and safety company that allows hosts and guests to confidently transact. Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted directly by SUPERHOG to complete your booking validation, which includes ID verification.
We charge a once-off per booking fee of R550.

Smoking Policy
All our properties are strictly non-smoking. This includes cigarettes, pipes, cigars, hubbly bubblies and marijuana.

A minimum fine of R10 000 will be charged if smoking, narghile, shisha, goza, hookah, water pipes, battery powered electronic smoking devices or any other activity that burns tobacco (or similar) takes place indoors on the property or guests/tenants may be requested to vacate the property or both. You will be billed additionally for the cleaning of the property.

Events,Functions and Parties:
Our properties are for accommodation purposes only. No parties, functions, events and/or similar are to be held at the properties under any circumstances. As such no third-party suppliers, caterers, external contractors and/or similar are allowed onto the premises, unless by prior arrangement and written consent by management.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of a cancellation the guest/agent must immediately notify BookNow in writing. The cancellation date shall be deemed to be the date when such notice is received by BookNow. In the event of cancellation, the following charges shall apply;
Cancellation 31 days or more before arrival – the initial booking deposit shall be forfeited (50% of the total booking value); or
Cancellation 30 days or less before arrival – 100% of the total booking cost shall be forfeited.
In the event of a Peak booking (any booking falling between 15 December – 10 January):

Cancellation 61 days or more before arrival – the initial booking deposit shall be forfeited (50% of the total booking value); or
Cancellation 60 days or less before arrival – 100% of the total booking cost shall be forfeited.An administrative fee of 20% will apply to all cancellations.

Amendments or booked dates: Please note that any amendment requests shall be at the discretion of the owner/manager and the company (additional charges will apply, if approved). There shall be no entitlement to a refund in the event that the guest decides to stay for a shorter period than what has been booked and paid for. Also note the rates are based and negotiated based on the originally booked dates. Shortening of stays will result in an increase of the nightly rate, if accepted by the owner/ manager and the company.

**Travel Insurance: Guests are advised to procure suitable insurance covering cancellation and agree to purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including “Cancel for any reason cover” at the time of the booking.
