Overview

Amber Place is a large self- catering villa with 8- bedrooms all en-suite. It is fully fitted with an independent Solar system and is not affected by power outages being experienced in South Africa.

Situated in a beautiful, tranquil location overlooking the length of Camps Bay beach and the glorious majestic mountain range of the 12 Apostles.

This villa is ideal for holidaymakers and business people alike, who look forward to experiencing a relaxing and peaceful environment. The villa sleeps up to 16 Guests and is available for bookings on a weekly and monthly basis all year round. The spacious interior is styled in neutral tones with colourful accents inspired by the abundant African nature.
There are fantastic views of the ocean from the top floor bedrooms, terraces and cigar room. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms, two overlooking the sparkling pool and the ocean, and one facing a garden courtyard .

There is a spacious lounge with a gas fire place, a dining area, a TV room with a guest bathroom and shower and a cocktail bar with comfortable seating. The kitchen is large and well stocked for your self-catering needs.

On the first floor, there are 5 bedrooms, two of which open onto a large terrace overlooking the pool and ocean, and the rest are facing the magnificent 12 Apostles mountain range. There is also a common cigar room and a sun seeker terrace offering splendid ocean views.

The pool area features a sea view and a dining area under a shady balau awning. A second terrace overlooking the grass lawn provides an idyllic setting for a morning breakfast. Amber Place is ideal for families or larger groups.

It is just 250 meters from the red line stop for the Hop on Hop off Cape Town tour buses.

Important Information

• Heating of the pool requires 4 days’ notice to heat. So please provide the requisite notice in
advance if required.
• No parties, functions, loud music or noise are permitted. All Guests are required to sign a noise
policy prior to staying.
• Children need to be supervised at all times as there is an open pool, stairs, steep
drops and balconies.
• A pool net can be fitted on request.
• For stays of 4 weeks and longer, an electricity allowance of R4000 will be included. Electricity up
and above the R4000 will be for the guest’s account.

- The Guest shall be liable to pay for any loss or damage to the premises and/or its contents, whether accidental or intentional. Any lost keys or remote control gadgets not returned will result in the lock and keys/remote control being replaced, and the Guest shall be liable for such costs.
- All loss and/or damage to the premises and/or its contents will be charged at the fair repair and/or replacement cost of such item. The Guest shall further be liable to pay, to RCA, an administration fee of 5% on the full transaction as well as an additional fee of R350 (three hundred and fifty rand) per hour for managing the aforementioned replacement/repairs/damages/losses/lost keys.
- The Guest agrees to pay a breakage and security deposit of R20 000.00 (ten thousand rand), or such other amount agreed upon between RCA and the Guest, by no later than 10 (ten) days prior to arrival at the Premises.
- If the Guest hasn't paid the breakage and security deposit in advance, the Guest undertakes and agrees to either:
- sign the credit card authorisation in and annexed to the Booking Form to reserve the breakage and security deposit on his credit card in accordance with the said authorisation;
or
- obtain breakage guarantee cover at the Guest's cost and expense, to the value of R200 000.00 (two hundred thousand rand – the guaranteed amount) issued by Guardrisk Insurance Company. A copy of the said application is available on request. RCA will further aid the Guest should he require assistance with the processing of the application.
- Any loss or damage to the premises shall be set off against the breakage and security deposit held by RCA. Should the amount of damages suffered exceed the amount of the breakage and security deposit, the Guest shall remain liable for the payment thereof, which sum is due and payable within 24 hours of presentation of the invoice by RCA.
- Upon expiry or earlier termination of the Occupation period, RCA shall be entitled to either: -
- deduct from the breakage and security deposit paid by the Guest, all breakages and/or damages and/or losses in and to the premises and the contents thereof occasioned during the Occupation period in respect of repairs, maintenance and/or replacement of broken or missing items and/or costs incurred in returning the premises to the condition as received by the Guest or occupant on check in, or
- debit the Guest's credit card as per the credit card authorisation in and annexed to the Booking Form in respect of such breakages and/or damages and/or losses or any other amount due and payable by the Guest.
- The Guest may not under any circumstances whatsoever set-off monies owing by him/her in terms of the booking against the breakage and security deposit.
- The balance of breakage and security deposit held after settlement of the items reflected in paragraph 9.1 above shall be refunded to the Guest after all the work and attendances involved, if any, have been completed, which could reasonably be expected within (2) two months of the check-out date unless the necessary repairs or replacement of broken / missing items take longer than this period to rectify.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 31 days or more before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.

-Should you wish to proceed with cancelling your booking, an administrative fee of 15% will apply.
