Caversham Woods offers lovely self-catering cottages with beautiful views on a farm in the heart of the Midlands, making it a great place to relax and unwind.

Ideal for 8 people, the dog-friendly cottage offers 4 bedrooms with king, queen-size and single beds and 2 bathrooms with baths and showers. The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge has a fireplace. The patio has lovely views and braai facilities.

Guests can relax in the lounge which offers comfortable seating, a fireplace in some, a TV, and Wi-Fi access. Dogs are welcome in the units, with prior arrangements and at an additional cost. The cosy living areas open onto patios with outdoor seating and braai facilities, overlooking the forests, mountains, river or horse paddocks.

The farm offers plenty of space to run around in the garden and a jungle gym for children, 2 small bass dams, and the river is great for tubing and fishing. On the eastern side of the farm, there are great cycling and running trails.

Important Information

- Check-in: 14h00 to 18h00.
- Checkout: 10h00.
- Self-check-in with a lockbox.
- To access the farm there is a gate intercom once the guest has checked in they will be given a remote and gate code. The cottage keys will be made available on arrival.
- Smoking is not allowed in the accommodation.
- Loud music, parties, or noise are not allowed on the premises.
- We request that no loud music or noise after 23h00 as guests have come to the country to relax.
- A socialised, well-behaved dog is allowed with prior arrangement, and an extra charge and breakage deposit for the dog will be charged.
- Pet owners need to bring their own pet bedding and bowls; dogs are not allowed on the beds.
- Use of the river and dams are permitted but entirely at the guest's risk, Caversham Woods is not responsible for any injury caused by swimming in the river or dam or any injury on the property.
- The owner and their pets live on the property.
- Please note, that the accommodation is accessed by a gravel road.

- Should the client wish to make a cancellation, Caversham Woods will seek to re-let the cottage for that rental period. If successful in doing so, a full refund will be issued (less a 5% administration fee).
- Balance of payment is due 5 days prior to arrival.
- If cancellation occurs:
i. More than 30 days prior to arrival a 0% deposit will be forfeited by the client (less a 5% administration fee).
ii. More than 14 days prior to arrival a 50% deposit will be forfeited by the client (less a 5% administration fee).
iii. Less than 14 days prior to arrival 100% deposit will be forfeited by the client.
iv. Deposits for peak periods such as Christmas and Easter Holiday bookings are non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 55% of the deposit.
If cancelling 15 days or more before arrival, forfeit 5% of the booking total.
