Thank you for booking with us. Here are the house rules.

All guests use and enter the property at their OWN RISK.

Firstly, being a thatched roof, we don't allow open fires near the house for obvious reasons. The BBQ has wheels, so you can wheel it to a safe distance while making the fire. When you have finished with the barbecue, please put out the coals?

The house has an Android streaming device with Netflix and a 48" flat screen TV.

In preparation for your stay at our house, we emphasize some of our house rules;

A breakage deposit of R1,500 is payable upon arrival, in cash. If nothing is broken/damaged, this will usually be paid out when you leave, else within 7 days.

STRICT booking-in time from: 15:00 - 19:00. If, through unforeseen events, you require a later entrance, it can be arranged at R250, but ONLY up to 21:00. NO ENTRANCE will be allowed AFTER 21:00 (9 PM).

Leaving: You have to vacate the house before 10:00.

1. No bedding, towels or any equipment of the house is allowed outside, except barbecue.
2. It is not allowed to unplug/change electrical setups in our house. There really is no need for that. Ripping our electrical equipment from the wall will cost you the full damage deposit.
3. The house is not serviced - meaning while you stay here, we don't make the beds, wash dishes or clean the house. Should you require a cleaning service, it can be arranged at R150 per day.
4. The house has a battery back-up system for the lights. In case of load shedding we advise you to switch off the fridge and TV (runs on same circuit) in order to stretch the time available for the lights.

Please note that South Africa may experience electricity load shedding, which could influence our power and water supply.
