Doringpoort: Lemoentjiedoring 1621 Self-catering Accommodation offers a free-standing chalet situated nestled in the unspoiled bush near the southern tip of the Kruger National Park in Marloth Park. It has its own unique atmosphere with all the luxuries to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay in the bush.

The chalet has its own private access. It is a modern unit equipped with a queen-size bed and en-suite with a shower, basin and toilet. Air-conditioning, a fan, Wi-Fi and a TV with the stay Essential DStv package. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen and is ideal for 2 persons.

There is a private under roof braai and access to a communal splash pool and braai area. Under the roof of street parking. No access to the Lodge. Please enquire about our breakfast options at an additional cost.

Guests can use their own high clearance vehicle for game drives. Walks, running and mountain bikes are allowed. Marloth has his own shopping centre, small but has all guests daily stuff. Crocodile Bridge gate is only 20 km away.

Child Policy
Children aged between 0 and 6 pay R100.00.
Children aged between 7 and 12 pay R250.00.

Guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.

Due to Covid 19 protocols "Die Grot" and "Die Ossewa Restaurant" are temporarily not available, however, we still offer in-house catering delivered directly to your unit. Only Breakfast and Dinner options available with prior arrangement.

Laundry service is available at an additional fee.

Grocery shopping services are available at R 150 per shopping request. The shopping list will need to be emailed 72 hours in advance.

Doringpoort also adds the extra service of an on-site tour desk that is available to arrange all activities within Kruger Park and the surrounding areas, subject to availability. During peak periods it is advisable to pre-book day visits and activities to ensure you get access into the Kruger National Park.

For your convenience we also have an on-site convenience shop with some basic items, like Ice, firewood, charcoal, firelighters, water, braai packs, freshly baked rusks, pods for coffee machine, dark roast coarse ground coffee and fresh products depending on what is in season. A coffee plunger is available in all rooms.

Kitchens are fully equipped with all the essentials. Should you prefer bring along your big pots and coffee machine to start your day. Keep in mind to please respect the appliances in the units.

All items found missing or broken will be charged before departure, therefore staff will start checking before departure time. In the event of early departures, we reserve the right to charge for any missing or broken items.

A fee of R500 will be charged in the case of lost keys or un-returned keys, as the lock will have to be changed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 70% of the booking total.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the booking total.
If cancelling 31 days before arrival, forfeit 5% of the booking total.
