Driftwood is a self-catering beachfront cottage for up to 10 people in Southport, Port Shepstone.

The cottage comprises 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and for convenience, bedding and towels are provided. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The room also opens onto a verandah with a sea view.

Two of the rooms each contain a queen-size bed, and the fourth bedroom contains 2 bunk beds for 4 people. All of the rooms are equipped with fans, and three of the rooms share the use of 2 bathrooms with showers only.

The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and electric oven, a microwave, a fridge, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the breakfast bar. A dishwasher, a washing machine and a tumble-dryer are also available for use. Smoking is not allowed in the house but is permitted on the verandah. Regret, no loud music or noise as this is a residential area.

The lounge is furnished with a TV, a DVD player as well as DStv, and opens onto a furnished verandah that overlooks the swimming pool and garden. A safety net for the pool is also available for peace of mind.

The garden has lovely Milkwood trees, braai facilities, as well as a sundowner spot that overlooks the beach, and is fenced; pets are welcome with prior arrangement. Secure parking is provided, and the property has an alarm system, beams and cameras.

Driftwood opens onto a narrow strip of indigenous vegetation and offers easy access to the Southport beach. Southport offers a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as activities such as golfing, bowling, hiking, and snorkelling.
