Important Information

These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between the guest and the supplier. By reading this document, the guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

COVID: If the guest suspects they are COVID-19 positive during their stay, they will immediately notify the supplier, who will follow the necessary protocols to sanitize and close off the apartment.

The apartment is equipped with a water meter and pre-paid electricity meter. If excessive usage is detected, the guest will be informed, and further charges may apply if the over-usage continues.

- The guest will not host large parties or create disturbances in the sensitive residential complex.
- Smoking in the apartment is prohibited. A R3,500 charge will be applied for smoking inside to cover additional cleaning costs.
- The guest will notify the supplier within 24 hours of check-in regarding any damage to furniture or appliances. The supplier will provide a full inventory upon request.
- The guest is responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, linens, and loss of keys, remotes, or access cards. The supplier will assess any damage after the guest’s departure.
- The guest will cover the costs to repair or replace any damaged items, including stained linens or towels, and ensure the apartment is returned in the same condition.
- The guest understands that electricity is capped, and they will be responsible for any charges beyond the cap.
- Ritual toiletries are complimentary except for the hand soap dispenser. If removed, the guest will be charged R195 per dispenser.
- The guest has been informed of the emergency evacuation procedures and escape route.
- The guest has been informed of the designated parking bay and will be responsible for any costs if their vehicle is clamped in the wrong bay

All cancellations must be submitted to BookNow in writing, and only email notification is acceptable.
Cancellation notice and Charges
• Bookings of 2-7 total room nights
o Cancellations made three (3) weeks or more before arrival: No cancellation fee.
o Cancellations made less than three (3) weeks before arrival: A one-night cancellation fee.
• Bookings of 8-14 total room nights
o Cancellations made three (3) weeks or more before arrival: No cancellation fee.
o Cancellations made less than three (3) weeks before arrival: A four-night cancellation fee.
• Bookings of 15-22 total room nights
o Cancellations made three (3) weeks or more before arrival: No cancellation fee.
o Cancellations made less than three (3) weeks before arrival: A seven-night cancellation fee.
• Bookings of 22 or more total room nights
o Cancellations made less than three (3) weeks before arrival: A 100% cancellation fee at the negotiated Long-Term Rate applies.
Additional Terms
• If a confirmed booking is not cancelled in writing, 100% of the total booking at the negotiated rate will be charged.
• BookNow will make every effort to rebook cancelled room nights, and any rebooked nights will be credited toward the cancellation fee.
• If a cancellation results in a reduction of the original total room nights booked, the next applicable rate tier will be applied to the actual nights stayed.
• In-house cancellations: If a guest cancels while already checked in, a 100% cancellation fee will apply at the negotiated Long-Term Rate.

This policy ensures fairness while recognizing that each apartment is a unique entity, and cancellations can impact availability and revenue.

An administrative fee of 10% will apply to all cancellations.
We advise all guests to take out cancellation insurance.
