Houtkapperspoort Mountain Cottages is situated within Houtkapperspoort Resort, positioned on the slopes of the mountain overlooking the Hout Bay Valley. The cottages are located in a hidden glen beneath the cooling shade of indigenous trees. Houtkapperspoort offers a relaxing, tranquil stay with fresh mountain air, and endless forest paths that wind through indigenous fynbos.

Comfortable accommodation is offered in 7 fully furnished self-catering cottages. Each cottage has a verandah and braai facilities, and is equipped with bed linen and towels, a TV with selected DStv channels and a DVD player, air-conditioning, and a wood-burning fireplace and/or underfloor heating. Each cottage is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, oven and stove, and a microwave.

The resort offers a lovely swimming pool, as well as a tennis court, children's play area with a jungle gym, and 24-hour on-site security.

The location is ideal for those who wish to explore the area's attractions, such as a variety of wine farms, restaurants, and hiking and walking trails.

No loud music or parties will be allowed, as this is a tranquil luxury estate and we need to respect neighbouring cottages.
Daily cleaning of the cottages can be requested at an additional fee of R 250 per day.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 90 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
