Invermooi Estate - Quiet Waters Lodge, Nottingham Road

Quiet Waters Lodge offers comfortable accommodation in a 6-bedroom self-catering lodge situated on the Invermooi Angus Stud farm in the foothills of the Drakensberg, 25 km outside Nottingham Road in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. The Invermooi Estate offers a tranquil country setting with panoramic views of the Drakensberg mountains, where guests can enjoy a peaceful getaway from the city. Invermooi Estate offers 5 lodges and 3 rondavels, conveniently situated around the estate giving guests the privacy they require.

Quiet Waters Lodge is tastefully furnished and comprises 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms, a lounge, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms in the lodge. Two of the bathrooms in the lodge are en suite, and the other 2 bedrooms have access to a shared communal bathroom with a bath and shower.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, an oven and stove, and a microwave, as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests convenience. The lounge has a TV with selected DStv channels, Wi-Fi, and a fireplace, ideal for those cold winter evenings. The lodge also offers braai facilities.

Invermooi Estate is a premier trout-fishing destination, and the estate offers many dams and 8 km of river frontage. Set on a working farm, this is the ideal spot to enjoy the countryside with birds and wildlife in abundance. The local Nottingham Road Village has much to offer, including many restaurants, pubs and craft shops. Other activities include fly fishing, hiking and mountain biking.
