Free-flowing spaces, beautiful décor with a distinctly African feel, and two wooden wrap-around decks with 180˚ panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean make this villa a one-of-a-kind gem.
The villa is spread over three levels, all of which have wooden decks looking out over the ocean. The first level can be reached from the double garage by elevator that opens onto a wooden sun deck with loungers. This level of the abode has a private gym with state-of-the-art equipment, including a cross trainer, a reclining bike, a treadmill, mats, and weights. There is also a small spa with a sauna, massage bed, shower, and toilet next to the gym.
Opposite the fitness room on the same level is a self-contained studio apartment that is ideal for guests looking for extra privacy. The studio has a separate entrance and features open plan living and dining spaces, a fully-equipped kitchenette with a dishwasher, and a bedroom with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The lounge opens onto a quiet balcony with a table and chairs and lovely sea views.
The first floor of the villa features beautifully appointed and elegantly furnished living and dining areas with plush décor in natural hues. It has a rustic 12-seater dining table and chairs, and a large, open-plan kitchen with a central cooking island and top-of-the-range appliances. The kitchen is an entertainer’s dream with a conventional and steam oven, a water cooker, a wine fridge, and a double fridge with a filtered still and sparkling water dispenser. A separate scullery-cum-pantry just off the kitchen has an extra fridge.
The living and dining areas open onto a large wraparound wooden deck with a solar-heated swimming pool, sun loungers, hammocks, and an outdoor lounge with an indoor/outdoor fireplace. The deck boasts spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Lion’s Head and is the perfect spot for late afternoon sundowners.
The second level of the villa is home to the master bedroom and four guest bedrooms, all of which are en-suite and have lovely ocean or mountain views. The luxurious master bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a large oval bathtub in creamy stone and a deluxe rain shower. It opens onto a wraparound wooden deck that offers breathtaking views of the ocean. The other four guest bedrooms have king or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms with rain showers, and access to either the deck, cosy courtyards, or pretty gardens. All the bedrooms have built-in cupboards and beautiful ocean or mountain views.
This floor of the villa also has a small communal lounge area-cum-study with comfortable furnishings that opens onto the second-floor deck and a laundry room. There is also a protected barbecue area with a large gas-and-wood barbecue, a 12-seater outdoor dining table, and an outdoor kitchen with a sink, fridge, and crockery and cutlery for hassle-free outdoor entertaining. A huge stock of wood can be found next to the entertainment area, as well as an outdoor courtyard for the laundry room.
La Baia is a SMART house with state-of-the-art technology to ensure every need is taken care of. It is fully secure, has air-conditioning and heating throughout, and has a double garage with secure off-street parking for three cars.
The buzzing beach bars and chic cafés on the palm-lined beachfront are a short drive away, as well as the city centre and the world-renowned V&A Waterfront.

Important Information
Arrival & Departure
Standard check-in time is 2pm on the day of arrival.
Check-out time is before 10am on the day of departure.
We will try to accommodate all other arrival and departure times. If you have any special requests, please contact the office to arrange this prior to the date of your arrival.
To guarantee early arrivals or late departures, an additional fee of half a day's rental may be charged.
Upon check-in, you may be required to produce proof of identification and your credit card.
Should guests not check-out at the agreed time on the check-out date, the manager will be entitled to charge for the overstay at a rate of up to double the average rate of their current stay, plus all applicable Guest Fees, Taxes and any legal expenses incurred.
It is important to note that by agreeing to our terms and conditions, the guest authorises the Property Manager to utilise their deposit to cover any breakages or damages to the property.
Payment Terms
In order to confirm a reservation, a deposit payment of 50% is due within 48 hours of written confirmation of booking.
A balance payment of 50% is due 40 days prior to arrival.
Our properties are protected by SUPERHOG – a globally recognized trust and safety company that allows hosts and guests to confidently transact. Please note that once you have booked, you will be contacted directly by SUPERHOG to complete your booking validation, which includes ID verification.
We charge a once-off per booking fee of R550.
Smoking Policy
All our properties are strictly non-smoking. This includes cigarettes, pipes, cigars, hubbly bubblies and marijuana.
A minimum fine of R10 000 will be charged if smoking, narghile, shisha, goza, hookah, water pipes, battery powered electronic smoking devices or any other activity that burns tobacco (or similar) takes place indoors on the property or guests/tenants may be requested to vacate the property or both. You will be billed additionally for the cleaning of the property.

Events,Functions and Parties:
Our properties are for accommodation purposes only. No parties, functions, events and/or similar are to be held at the properties under any circumstances. As such no third-party suppliers, caterers, external contractors and/or similar are allowed onto the premises, unless by prior arrangement and written consent by management.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation the guest/agent must immediately notify BookNow in writing. The cancellation date shall be deemed to be the date when such notice is received by BookNow. In the event of cancellation, the following charges shall apply;
Cancellation 31 days or more before arrival – the initial booking deposit shall be forfeited (50% of the total booking value); or
Cancellation 30 days or less before arrival – 100% of the total booking cost shall be forfeited.
In the event of a Peak booking (any booking falling between 15 December – 10 January):
Cancellation 61 days or more before arrival – the initial booking deposit shall be forfeited (50% of the total booking value); or
Cancellation 60 days or less before arrival – 100% of the total booking cost shall be forfeited.An administrative fee of 20% will apply to all cancellations.
Amendments or booked dates: Please note that any amendment requests shall be at the discretion of the owner/manager and the company (additional charges will apply, if approved). There shall be no entitlement to a refund in the event that the guest decides to stay for a shorter period than what has been booked and paid for. Also note the rates are based and negotiated based on the originally booked dates. Shortening of stays will result in an increase of the nightly rate, if accepted by the owner/ manager and the company.
**Travel Insurance: Guests are advised to procure suitable insurance covering cancellation and agree to purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including “Cancel for any reason cover” at the time of the booking.
