These traditional self-catering Cape cottages, with their unique position, complete privacy and well-appointed interiors, really are the perfect base for exploring the charming valley of Franschhoek. The various cottages, sleeping 2 - 6 guests each, are perfectly situated on the outskirts of the village. Each have their own private pool and veranda looking out over glorious gardens towards the most spectacular views of the valley. Our one-bedroom cottages have a kitchenette that is equipped with a kettle, Nespresso machine microwave and an under-counter fridge.

Important Information

Booking Conditions:
Bookings will be held on a provisional basis for 14 days only.
The final balance is due 30 days prior to the date of arrival.
Full payment is required within 48 hours for bookings that commence within the following 30 days.
Payments can be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or by Visa or Mastercard.
We require guests to sign an accident and liability waiver form upon check-in.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Kindly use your reservation number and surname as reference when making payments.

Group Bookings: (4 rooms or more):
Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days without automatic extension.
Group bookings between 01 November - 30 April requires a minimum stay of two consecutive nights.
A 20% deposit is requested to guarantee the reservation at the time of confirming the booking.
This deposit will be non-refundable for bookings during the High Season.
The remaining balance of the accommodation charge is required 30 days prior to the date of arrival.
Should payment not be received as stipulated, La Cotte Farm reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
Payment can be made by direct deposit or EFT or by Visa or Mastercard.
All extras are to be settled before departure by the guests.

Landscaping works. In order to achieve our planned gardens at La Cotte, we are currently undertaking some earthworks and landscaping at Orchard Cottages and at the nearby Hotel grounds. We would like to bring it to your attention that this might from time to time create some noise and dust. We try to keep this limited to the hours 10 am till 3 pm, weekdays only.

General:
All Franschhoek festivals such as Bastille Festival, Book Fair, etc, will be charged at High Season Rates
Room amenities are provided, such as shampoo, soap and towels.
Complimentary tea and coffee are provided in the rooms.
Rates quoted are “room only” but include VAT and local taxes.
All rates are subject to change without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy

No show or cancellation within 14 days of stay – No refund due.
Cancellation between 15 and 30 days before stay – 25% of the deposit will be refunded.
Cancellation between 60 and 30 days before stay – 50% of the deposit will be refunded
Cancellation more than 60 days before stay – full refund.
