Lagoonside - Ontspan is a self-catering holiday home located in Langebaan, a small lagoon town on the Cape West Coast. Situated an easy hour’s drive from Cape Town, Langebaan provides an ideal base from which to explore the West Coast and the bounty of excellent attractions in the area.

This 4-bedroom house is able to accommodate 8 people and has 4 bathrooms. The main, second and third bedrooms each have a double bed, while the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds. Three of the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. Linen is provided. Please bring your own bath and beach towels.

The house also comprises a kitchen, lounge and dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped and features a stove, oven, fridge-freezer and microwave. The dining area has seating space for 6 people, while the lounge has comfy seating and a TV with a full selection of DSTV channels. The house features an outdoor braai area and viewing deck. Off-street parking is available for 3 vehicles.

Important Information

Breakage Deposit:
The following refundable breakage deposit is payable with the deposit prior to arrival:
6 – 9 Sleeper unit: R1 000

Breakage deposits will be refunded within 10 business days after check-out, should everything be in order.

Should such damage or loss be more than the breakage deposit, you will forfeit your deposit and still be liable for the balance of such loss and/or damage. We reserve the right to proceed with legal action without notice.

Any cost incurred to rectify the property after the stay will be subtracted from the breakage deposit, e.g. should extra heavy cleaning be required, or if excessive dirty dishes are left.

Late arrivals will be charged at R250 per hour or part therefore, up until 21:00, payable in cash on arrival. No check ins will be done after 21:00 and you will be considered a no show.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy:
If cancelling 10 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the booking total.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
If cancelling 120 days before arrival, forfeit 10% of the deposit.
Please note, apart from our cancellation policy, an administration fee of R250 will be charged for all cancellations.

Payment Deposit:
We request 50% of the invoice amount, within 24 hours, to secure the booking.
No booking will be confirmed or accepted until payment is made.
The outstanding amount to be paid at the latest 10 days prior to date of arrival. In the case of a Peak Season booking (December, January & Easter) final payment is required 1 month prior to date of arrival.
