Built in the 2nd World War to house the female soldiers protecting our coastline, still with its original plumbing and piping, these Army Barracks offer accommodation for 10 guests.

This property offers 5 individually furnished rooms, 1 bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms that are furnished with a double bed while the fifth bedroom has 2 single beds. The house shares the use of the bathroom that is fitted with a shower, wash basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.

The large kitchen is equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, additional freezer, a table for food preparation, basic cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The living area offers guests comfortable seating, a dining table as well as a TV. Through the front door of the living area, guests will be able to see the ‘Soldier Pool’ that was built by the soldiers themselves. The outside area has an outdoor braai and a nice lawn where children can play and offer safe parking on the premises.

Mount Pleasant is located close to the Draai walking route and other hiking trails such as the famous Spook.
