OuHout Self-catering Cottage,

Ouhout Self-catering Cottage is situated on the Springvale Farm which is a working dairy farm, in the picturesque Natal Midlands of KwaZulu-Natal between Nottingham Road and Rosetta. There are horses and a piggy along with canine companions on the property for you to look at and of course our very inquisitive dairy cows are always happy to meet new faces.

The Outhout Self-catering Cottage building was converted from stables into a homely self-catering cottage in November 2017. It has 3 comfortable bedrooms, all en-suite. 1 of the bedrooms is a garden unit with its own entrance. Enjoy an open-plan lounge with a fireplace for those chilly winter nights. A fully equipped kitchen with a separate scullery gives the cottage a homely feel. There is nothing better than gathering around an outside braai on the verandah and watching the sun set.

There are a number of trail runs or bicycle rides on the farm. While running, walking or cycling keep an eye out for bushbuck, reedbuck, blesbuck and oribi. The farm also has rich bird life, with all 3 of the cranes present.

Come and enjoy the peaceful country life, breathe the fresh air, relax and unwind on the farm or stay as a stopover en-route to the coast or inland.
