Overview

Situated within the world-renowned Timbavati Game Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger Park, the Simbavati Mvubu. boasts breathtaking views from the lovely cottage specifically arranged to create a unique feel and guaranteed privacy.

The private and exclusive, duplex cottage occupies its own elevated position and has a private plunge pool and viewing deck. The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms that are furnished with king-size beds, and have en-suite bathrooms with showers. An outdoor shower is also available for guests to use.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a dishwasher. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table and relax in the cosy lounge. The first floor opens onto a balcony with a comfortable day bed, overlooking the beautiful surroundings.

The lodge where the cottage is situated offers Big 5 Game Drives in the early morning and late afternoon or evening, taking advantage of the time of day when the animals are naturally most active. Nocturnal creatures, including the big cats, are regular sightings at night.

Important Information

- Bookings are only guaranteed upon receipt of a 25% deposit. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival. Full payment is required prior to arrival at the lodge.
- We recommend you arrive at the lodge between 13h00 and 14h00 as lunch is served from about 13h30.
- Check-out time before 11h00.
- At Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, you will be required to pay a vehicle entrance fee of R 230 per vehicle and a conservation levy of R 460 per person (valid until 31 December 2022, subject to change without prior notice). The conservation levy is payable at the lodge and can be prepaid.
- The Enkhulu Control Gate into the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve is open from 06h00 to 18h00.
- Please do not arrive at the lodge late, as you will then miss the afternoon/evening game drive and lunch, which we do not serve later than 15h00. - - It is also safer not to drive in the reserve and arrive at the lodge when it is dark.
- If you are going to be late due to unforeseen circumstances, please let us know.
- Continuous cellular telephone reception just before the Enkhulu Gate.
- Please note, there is no mobile network available in the reserve.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the deposit.
If cancelling 60 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
If cancelling 120 days before arrival, forfeit 10% of the deposit.
