Summer Forever offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a beach house offering elevated side-sea views, situated just 400 m from a swimming beach in the resort town of Ramsgate.
The beach house is ideal for carefree holiday living and can comfortably sleep 12 guests. The house comprises 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 lounges, a dining area, and a kitchen. The main house comprises 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom contains a king-size bed. Attached to the main house with separate entrances, are 2 en-suite bedrooms and a laundry, the main bedroom contains a king-size bed, and the laundry is equipped with a 13 kg washing machine and a tumble dryer. The lounge includes a bar and is equipped with a 50 inch flat-screen TV with high definition, full premium bouquet DStv with the latest Explorer DStv decoder. The lounge blinds are also fully automated. The lounge is also equipped with a double-door LG fridge/freezer with on-tap cold water. The kitchen is equipped with a Bauer fridge, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, filter coffee machine, oven and stove, and crockery and cutlery.
Guests have access to their own private swimming pool which is heated by a 5.4 KW Firefly heat pump. The heating of the pool is further supplemented by 4 large solar panels on the roof which also allow for energy efficient heating of the pool on sunny days. A temperature control panel on the patio allows the pool temperature to be monitored. Children can play on the spacious lawn and guests can relax by the pool or on the outdoor patio. Wi-Fi is provided and guests have access to braai facilities.
The house has ample security, full sensors inside the house and the latest RX beams outside the house. The French timber doors and windows have built-in steel burglar bars. All partial sea-facing rooms have sliding doors that can be fully opened, and the timber open frame can be kept closed to allow for fresh breezes into the room during the day and night. A camera system round the house is monitored 24-hours a day by the security company, and a monitor with all cameras in view is positioned in the main bedroom. An electric fence surrounds the property and sets off a separate alarm if breached. The front gate and the garage door are automated.
Ramsgate is located on KwaZulu-Natal's South Coast, just 155 km South of Durban. Ramsgate is known for its excellent Blue Flag beach, upmarket feel, and restaurants. Summer Forever is situated within close proximity to the Ski Boat beach which is a quiet swimming beach, protected with shark nets and lifeguards. The launch from the Ski Boat beach club is protected. The South Coast Mall and Shelly Centre, 2 major shopping centres are just 13 km away to the North. The Wild Coast Sun is just 30 km away to the South.
