Terracotta offers self-catering apartments and is located on the host’s property in the seaside town of Southbroom. The owner-run guest house is ideally situated approximately 650 m from Southbroom Golf Club and 1.5 km from the beach.

Accommodation at Terracotta comprises 2 comfortably furnished apartments, which can accommodate between 2 to 4 persons. Each unit consists of separate bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a well-equipped open-plan kitchenette that contains appliances to cook meals, and a lounge area to relax on.

Both units lead out onto a park-like garden with a wild-flower meadow, trees and amazing birds, and animals that often visit in the evening. In addition, each apartment contains a private braai area and free Wi-Fi access. Secure parking is available on the property.

The night camera on the property has picked up nine mammals such as grey and blue duiker, bushbuck, bushpig, African wild cat, large-spotted genet, white-tailed mongoose, water mongoose and porcupine; plenty of monkeys visit during the day. The property’s bird list easily exceeds 100 in the garden alone. The garden descends directly into the Bushbuck Trail, a lovely forest walk well maintained by the Southbroom Conservancy. Instead of taking the trail, guests can turn left through the tennis courts and enjoy a short stroll to the quiet beach at Sea Village.

The area of Southbroom boasts 3 thriving sports clubs: golf, tennis and bowls, in addition to the beach and all its attractions. There are doctors’ rooms, a vet, a dentist, a pharmacy, a deli, coffee shops, a bottle store and restaurants, and a KwikSpar.
