For guests who prefer to avoid stairs, a ground-floor bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom provides convenience and accessibility without compromising on comfort. Please note, there are three small stairs at the main entrance to access the upper level of the home.

Security and Access:
Your peace of mind is a priority. Entry to the property requires a safety box key for the bottom lock and an electronic code for the door handle—both will be provided the day before your arrival. Please note that the key and gate handle must be turned simultaneously to unlock the door.

Important Information

1. Guest Responsibilities and Safety Guidelines
a. Guests agree to follow all posted and verbal instructions regarding the use of gas appliances, including but not limited to ensuring the gas is securely turned off after use, as per the provided instructions. Failure to do so may result in dangerous situations for which Guests shall be solely responsible.
b. Barbecue fires must only be held on designated placemats to prevent damage or accidents.
c. If children are present on the Property, Guests agree to supervise them at all times, especially around the jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi is only covered with a safety cover and does not prevent children from falling in. Guests acknowledge that full vigilance is required for child safety.
d. Guests are strictly prohibited from leaning on or climbing on the patio railings or barriers for safety reasons.

2. Damage and Liability
Guests acknowledge that any damage to the Property, its furnishings, or appliances caused during their stay will be fully charged to their credit card on file or security deposit. Guests agree to report any damage immediately and to accept financial responsibility for repairs or replacements required.

3. Parties and Noise Restrictions
Guests agree not to host any parties, gatherings, or events on the Property that may cause disturbance or damage.
Additionally, all noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 22:00 (10:00 PM). Excessive noise, disruptive behaviour, or party-related activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate eviction without a refund.

4. House and Security Alarm System
Guests acknowledge that the Property is equipped with an alarm system. Guests must ensure the alarm is always set when leaving the Property for day excursions and at checkout to maintain security and safety.

5. Assumption of Risk
Guests understand and accept that the Property contains inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, burns, or other injuries related to the use of property amenities. Guests undertake all activities at their own risk.

6. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guests agree to release, waive, and discharge the property owner, their agents, employees, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, expenses, or liabilities arising from injury, death, or loss sustained on or around the Property, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

7. Indemnity
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless the property owner against any claims, damages, or costs arising from misuse, neglect of safety instructions, or violations of this agreement during their stay.

8. Safety and Compliance
Guests confirm they have read and understood all provided safety instructions and agree to adhere strictly to these guidelines.

9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.

*We reserve the right to not refund card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit card.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
An administrative fee of 17.25% will apply to all cancellations.
