Windsong Living is a luxurious and tranquil property, housing 2 lodges on an Equestrian Estate in the Cradle of Humankind. The Nest and Eagle Own offer luxurious, intimate and secluded self-catering accommodation at the foot of a mountain covered with natural proteas.

The Nest offers modern tree-house living at its finest. It is completely private and secluded. This lovely north-facing unit is wrapped by a 50-year old tree, and boasts a private Jacuzzi. The modern interior enhances the theme of birds, trees and leaves. It offers beautiful views of the Paardekraal Pass and looks out over a pecan nut orchard, paddocks and the manicured gardens.

Upstairs is an airy queen-size bedroom with a dressing room and coffee lounge. The en-suite bathroom has a double shower which is tiled to resemble a mountainside. An air-conditioner upstairs keeps the temperature ambient and the infrared heater and towel-warming rack ensures your comfort. Downstairs is an open-plan living area with modern fittings including an H20 water purifier and ice-machine. The grill, rotisserie, airfryer and 4-plate gas stove allow for preparation of meals. For entertainment, there is a Smart TV which can access a variety of movies and programmes.

The private and spacious deck has its own braai and the private lapa leads onto the secluded Jacuzzi courtyard. The Nest enjoys prolific bird life and you may be fortunate to see the visiting kingfishers and hear the spotted eagle owl.

Eagle Owl is a deluxe free-standing unit with a separate open-plan living area, bedroom with a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower, as well as plenty of cupboard space. The bedroom leads onto a private courtyard with a Jacuzzi. The unit has free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with DStv and Netflix. Two comfy couches in the lounge alternate as single beds if required.

A modern kitchen provides the necessary amenities including a dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, fridge-freezer and ice-machine. Condiments available for your use and tea, coffee, milk and bottled water are provided daily. Enjoy the private back courtyard and front braai and deck area under a private pergola with views of the paddocks.
