1. Rates exclude the Welgevonden Conservation Levy of R 140 which is payable per person per night for the duration of your stay. The Conservation levies will be billed separately and is payable before your arrival at the reserve.

2. The Lodge is booked in its entirety (whole lodge) and is only available to a single group at a time with a maximum of 10 guests per night (includes all adults and children.)
You will not share the lodge with 3rd parties.

3. The Lodge is self-catering but with a difference. Guests are responsible for taking all their food and beverages but all your meals will be prepared by our resident chef.

4. Included in the rate is two Safari Game Drives per day with your own private game vehicle. This includes your own personal and dedicated game ranger. The game vehicle is limited to 10 persons,

5. Arrival and departure times: (Except by prior arrangement). Arrival time at the main gate is 2 pm and departure time is 10 pm from the lodge.

6. Transfers from the Reserve main gate to The Lodge. Included in the rate is 1 transfer per group. Should other guests in your group arrive or depart at different times additional transfers can be arranged at R1,000 per transfer.

7. Note: Metsi Lodge guests will be collected from the Welgevonden West Gate.

8. Your emailed, faxed or verbally communicated booking request will be confirmed by your completion and return of this booking form and subsequent payment of the deposit.

9. Your physical address and that of your guests will be deemed to be as specified in the booking form.

10. The Lodge shall not be liable to guests under any circumstances or for any reason for any damage or loss, whether consequential or otherwise however so arising.

11. The Lodge is indemnified against any liability arising from your or your guests' death or injury. Accordingly you are suggested to take out the requisite travel insurance policy covering at least injury, death, medical costs, emergency evacuation, repatriation, loss of or damage to personal belongings (due to theft or otherwise) and cancellation.

12. The booking and all services carried out by The Lodge will be subject to South African Law and the jurisdiction of South African Courts.

13. Bookings that fall within Monday to Thursday of the same week will qualify for the mid-week booking rate.

If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
If cancelling 28 days before arrival, forfeit 75% of the booking total.
If cancelling 44 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
